THE FACILITIES

The resort opened in 2009. The overall architecture is in a traditional Zanzibari style, with white walls, terracotta floors and makuti thatched roofs. The buildings are characterized by fine details and good craftsmanship.

The facilities include 30 spacious 240 sqm villas with 3 bedrooms, each with separate bathroom, a shared sitting room, a private veranda and terrace and a spacious 1st floor lounge with balcony featuring a 180 degrees sea view. 22 of the villas have their own pool. The villas are equipped with air condion, satellite flat screen TV wireless internet, and beautiful Zanzibari carved furniture.

General facilities include a main building complex with reception, restaurant, kitchen and bakery, 2 bars, conference room, boutique shop and offices. In addition to this the general facilities include a wellness center/SPA, a large infinity swimming pool, a private beach, a jetty and a tennis court.

Moreover, the resort also includes an administration block, 4 senior staff villas, a ladies staff block, a gents staff block, a general storage room, a maintenance building, a maintenance/laundry/generator building, a parking lot and a gate building. The resort is surrounded by a solid brick wall.

THE PLOT

The resort is built on a large 9,895 Ha plot with its own private beach. The plot offers free space for the construction of extra villas, a conference center, etc.

CSR

The resort exists in close cooperation with the local village. The guests are more than welcome in the village to soak up the atmosphere, talk to the local fishermen and experience the laughs and smiles of the local children.

KEY INVESTMENT FEATURES

The resort is characterized by good craftsmanship and is overall in good condition. It needs, however, some repairs and maintenance in some areas. In its current state the resort rates as a 3 star hotel and is a very attractive place to stay for price conscious travelers.
